On Sunday 16 June 2013 Jimmy Choo Creative Director

Sandra Choand Esquire Editor Alex Bilmes co-hosted

a party to celebrate the opening night of London

Collections: Men at 5 Hertford Street.

“We are very excited to be showing our SS14 men’s collection

as part of London Collections: Men and to be partnering with

Esquire to host the opening night party. It is a great kick off

to what I think will be an eventful week for London” Sandra

Choi, Creative Director, Jimmy Choo. “Esquire is delighted to

host the opening night party to the London Collections:

Men for the third season in a row, and to be partnering again

with our friends at Jimmy Choo. London is the most cutting

edge city in the world for men’s style, and we are thrilled to

be in the thick of it.” Alex Bilmes,Esquire Editor .

Talking about her collection, Sandra Choi said: “The collection

is inspired by contemporary art expressed in Robert Longoin’s

installation ‘Men in the Cities’, which prompted me to look at

the people who live in cities different from the usual fashion

capitals. I was inspired by the colors of Brazzaville’s Sapeurs,

by the hyper stylish street style of New York and by the

creativity of fashion victims around the world. “

Guests from the worlds of film, fashion and music attended

the event, including Kerry Washington, Samuel L Jackson,

Thandie Newton, David Gandy, Reggie Yates, Dermot

O’Leary and others. Guests were entertained with a DJ set

from the world famous Mark Ronson and enjoyed a pop up

casino offering black jack and roulette echoing the Mayfair

playboy personality at the heart of the Jimmy Choo man.
