Daphne Guinnes Video

Daphne Guinnes has unveiled her debut music video

for her first single, Fatal Flow; in collaboration

with SHOWStudio directed by photographer Nick

Knight and edited by filmmaker Marie Schuller.

The heiress has been also muse to another SHOWStudio project,

that is the work of Dutch couturier Iris van Herpen. A dress sculpted

from plastic forms the centrepiece of the exhibition, inspired by a splash

of water as it hit Guinness, which was recorded with the dresses by Knight.

“Iris van Herpen’s SHOWcabinet presents a world where time dissolves

and disciplines intertwine,” reads a release; in her work, fashion, science,

art and technology are not separate objects, but flow from a single source.”

Accompanying the water dress and other pieces from van Herpen are a

series of other artworks which also find their inspiration in natural

wonders – including pieces from Philip Treacy, Jordan Askill and Nick Knight.
