Beyoncé & Rent The Runway
Beyoncé & Rent The Runway launch ‘The Beyoncé Boutique’,
Rock Mrs. Carter-Approved Ensembles
In celebration of The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, Rent the Runway,
the leading online destination for designer dress and accessory rentals,
has teamed up with Beyoncé to offer her fans the ultimate Queen B
experience. “Making women feel confident and beautiful is something
I’ve always been passionate about. That’s why joining forces with Rent
the Runway was so organic. It’s more than just access to beautiful clothes;
it’s about making women look and feel their best,” Beyoncé said in a release.
Beyoncé’s curated boutique had launched on May 22nd with a plenty of
sparkly numbers, lots of strapless minis, a few rompers and enough
body-con designs (aka Freakum dresses) to go around. Dresses that
normally retail for hundreds of dollars can be rented for as little as $50.
The most expensive frock in the collection is a strapless Moschino creation
that would run you $2995 at a store, but can be yours to rent for $400.
Beyonce lead celebrities included in the ‘100 Most Powerful
Women’ the list that magazine Forbes released every year.
The pop star is the #17 in the list published yesterday, of the
100 women who, according to the magazine, this year had the
greatest impact from different points of view. The fields in
which these 100 women have excelled are different, from politics
to the economy, communications, technology and philanthropy.
