Bali Barret, the creative director in charge of the female world

at Hermès, has invited Rei Kawakubo to collaborate with the French

fashion maison for two capsule collection of Carrés.

The union between the two universes, will be called “Comme des Carrés”

and will be released on the in two stages:  the first collection Noir at blanc 

will be sold on the 6th-8th of February 2013 in Comme de Garçonne stores

in Paris, New York and Tokyo, then the collection called Couleur on the 8th February 

in Dover Street Market in Tokyo and on the 12th February in London.
