“Oz: the Great and Powerful”
is the upcomingWalt Disney film
directed by Sam Raimi, with James Franco,
Rachel Weisz, Michelle Williams and Mila Kunis.
The film is adapted from L. Frank Baum’s
1900 novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
The story is about a small-time circus magician
that is hurled into a fantasy world,
and must use his wits to stay ahead
of three enchantresses Theodora,
Evanora and Glinda who have plans for him.
Putting his magical arts to use through
illusion, ingenuity, and even a bit of wizardry,
Oscar transforms himself not only into t
he great and powerful Wizard of Oz
but into a better man as well.
