The place is Avenue Montaigne where clients and journalists are gathered together in the heart of the House’s pearl grey salons; a private and confidential setting for a public impatient to assist at the presentation of the Haute Couture collection. Suddenly a model appears, parading through the rows of guests, dressed in a creation by Monsieur Dior. She is wearing custom jewels that the couturier has just fastened around her neck and wrist backstage; a rhinestone necklace and a bead bracelet. The stones in this jewellery are not precious, only the design and the elegance of the woman wearing them are. Yet these couture jewels shine with the sparkle of coloured gems. The illusion is perfect.

For her new High Jewellery collection, Victoire de Castellane revives the spirit of Monsieur Dior’s couture jewels, reinventing them with new designs idealized by the jeweller’s know-how. The dream initiated by the couturier remains intact. This time, the bracelets, the earrings and the rings are mounted with precious stones whose settings have been teased and taunted by carats and cuts chosen by Victoire de Castellane. The soul of the collection is revealed in the variety of volumes and colours of the stones all in spicy harmony. Classic or exuberant, always joyful and appetizing, these stones have taste.
